Gravel is a long standing classic and is still the material of choice for many stately homes, country cottages and to some extent modern homes. At Patio Paving Solutions we offer three kinds of gravel surface, in a range of colours to enhance your home and lifestyle. Our gravel driveways are a cost efficient alternative to block paving as well as being the preferred option when required to cover large area. Choosing gravel surfacing is also an effective security measure as thieves are often deterred due to the noise that is made whilst walking or driving up the drive.

Gravel Driveways Plymouth

At Patio Paving Solutions we use technically advanced products and construction methods that ensures your gravel stays put without any maintenance from you.

During your initial consultation, our driveway specialist will advise you on the different types of gravel finish available and will be able to provide objective advice on what suits your style of home.

When installing a gravel driveway we use a unique cellular gravel system, with a gravel depth of around 20mm. This system prevents movement of the gravel as well as significantly reinforcing your driveways stability, allowing vehicular traffic, including 4 x 4 vehicles, caravans, tractors, horse boxes and site maintenance equipment. One of the major advantages of a gravel driveway is that when installed with a permeable sub-base (such as MOT Type 3) the driveway is completely permeable, therefore conforming to SUDS regulations.

We always build gravel driveway on a MOT Type 3 sub base therefore drastically improving your driveways drainage and curing any existing drainage issues.

Patio Paving Solutions uses its own highly skilled team to carry out all the work we do – we never sub-contract, that way, we are able to ensure the quality of everything we do and can confidently offer a guarantee on all our work.
